Hay TeamLIGHTS troopers.

I have a special contest for you guys. Yesterday at the Berlin show of Owl City and LIGHTS I gave her a small gift that I made her and asked her if she could sign a copy of that gift for this contest I want to start here. So she wrote a special message for TeamLIGHTS on it and that is what you can win here.

To enter the contest draw a picture with your hand, pc or whatever you want to use. This picture should show how you see your favourite LIGHTS song or what you feel when you listen to your fav song. There are no other restrictions. Post your picture in this thread to enter. The contest will end on 3/31/10.

Update: You may enter as often as you want.

Update 2: After the deadline there will be a voting for the best pic. The "quality" shouldn't be the main aspect. I think its more important how you see the meaning of the lyrics or how you express what you connect with the song.

I'm so doing this! I love photoshop.
Thanks for doing this, it rocks, since a lot of us are talented in the gallery of art.
I will definitely post my entry soon. But I think it's a bit unfair because you get a raffle for your drawing, yet you may have spent 5 mins on your drawing while the other entrees spent 2 hours, and you have the same chance of winning. Shouldn't it be a contest for the best drawing?? =/

I disagree; people have varying degrees of artistic skill but that doesn't make them any less of a fan. I'm completely inept when it comes to Photoshop but it doesn't mean I'd put any less thought or effort into the contest. Under a 'best picture' contest, I'd have absolutely no chance of winning.

I think you're right. When the deadline is over, we can start a voting and the best voted pic wins. So all members decide together. =]

@Dead Poetic: Your pic doesn't has to be a new Picasso. The main point I think should be the idea of your drawing. How you interpretate the lyrics or what they are mean to you.

This sounds like a really neat idea. It will be interesting to see how others view her music/songs compared to how I do.
