Ebay sells some for around 200-400. High end ones are more around 800-1000

Yeah, i was looking at that. I couldn't seem to find any that seemed quality from the popular music stores here in Edmonton (well, on their websites anyway).

Fancy stuff. I don't think i would use it enough to warrant paying for it. Heh.

Hey guys, you have been really great and understanding with the contest being open to US only and i wanted to thank you. For those that wanted an explanation, this is a re-post of a reply i posted on facebook after the contest was announced there today:

This has absolutely nothing to do with LIGHTS "liking the US better" or "selling out" because come on, she's Canadian, and there are no bigger supporters of her music than YOU!

There are several reasons and here are a few:
1) shipping/ tax/ custom issues (don't want to ship it to you and make you pay some sort of tax for winning)

2) LIGHTS has two labels (on in CA the other in US). The US label is running the contest

3) we are trying to build up LIGHTS' US fan base because the lucky Canadians already know who LIGHTS is. The US not so much

i know that even if i list all the reasons why the contest is US only it still won't quell your unhappiness. The only thing i can do is apologize and tell you that i know it sucks. The better LIGHTS does in US AND Canada, the sooner she can tour and get more of her music out there! that's the win win situation.

LOL! Just kidding, I completely understand. LIGHTS deserves all the fans she can get, and I know for a fact her US fanbase is alot smaller than her Canadian one, so definitely no hard feelings.

the way I see it Canadians don't get to complain, at least she actually PLAYS there!!

We do have milk bags, but to be honest i havn't used a milk bag in like.... forever. Haha.

Realistically, i probably would not have won anyway. SO to me, it is all good. Besides, we get to bask in the glory of being ranked #1 in the IIHF?

... Wait, those damn Russians have that now. (stupid World Championships being worth so much... All it shows is that the Canadians are always in the finals. We shall see what happens in January....)
